Competition description

Competition participants

Everybody from 12 years old who can climb and belay.
For the participants under 18 years, the representative (trainer) of the ̄ organisation (club, association) must present a written signed application, where should be indicated the given name, surname of the participant, date of birth and athlete health status confirmation.
For Latvian climbers only ! Participants of the competitions will receive ranking points depending on the result on competitions. Accumulated points and acquired place in the competitions will be included into common ranking of Latvian alpinist assosiation. Competition format

Qualification: Flash festival with 25-30 routes (5c-8a), 23sets with 40 climbers in each set .Results are calculated using best 8 route scores, to motivate the participants try their hardest
Final: Onsight finals men and women. Six competitors (6 men and 6 women) with the best results in qualification reach the final. The number of participants in the final will be increased if the count of Latvian climbers in final is less than 4. Final route is limited by time ( 8 minutes). In case of identical results in the final, qualification results will be taken into account. In case of identical results both in final and qualification the time of the final route will take into account

Registration and fees

Pre-registration for competition ends on 31.01.2020 at 00:00.
Fee of pre-registration - 20 euro, for members of Traverss climbing club - 15 euro, participants up to 18 years old - 15 EUR. 
Fee from 01.02.2020 untill 05.02.2020 - 25 euro for all.
Fee from 06.02.2020  and fee for registration on competition day - 30 euro.
Pre-registration is considered completed if competitor makes fee transfer to the bank account:

For audience the entry is free.

Equipment

Each climber must have his own equipment for participation in competitions, including a rope with the length not less than 25 meters.

Set 1
18:10-18:30. Set 1 registration.
18:30-18:40. Presentation of rules and routes
18:40-21:40. Set 1 climbing.

Set 2
08:40-09:00. Set 2 registration.
09:00-09:10. Presentation of rules and routes
09:10-12:10. Set 2 climbing.

Set 3
12:10-12:30. Set 3 registration.
12:30-12:40. Presentation of rules and routes
12:40-15:40. Set 3 climbing.

16:45. Isolation zone open (men and women)
17:45. Isolation zone closed (do not be late!)
18:00-19:00 Finals & awards ceremony.
